Dentist

I was 10 years old when Synergy Centre first opened its doors and even then, I knew I wanted to be a dentist. I was one of the few children that loved visiting the dentist. The combination of welcoming staff, balloon glove animals, and impression materials made going to the dentist (which also happened to be my dad) the highlight of any week. As I continued to play in the dental office, I started to pay attention to what my dad was actually doing. I observed how he would take people out of pain, fix a broken smile, or straighten teeth. I started to envision myself doing just that.

As I got older, I worked as a receptionist at Synergy where I gained an appreciation for how different medical disciplines work together towards a patient's overall well-being. In particular, I saw how dentistry impacted more than just the mouth and face. It equally influenced many other aspects of one's health. I started dental school shortly afterwards in New York, where I strived to make the dental office less scary and more welcoming to patients. I enjoyed meeting new people, learning new techniques, and putting a smile on each patient I worked on.

Now that I have graduated, I have returned back to Synergy, this time as a Dentist. I am ready to continue the journey and invite you into a warm, welcoming, and professional environment where we can work together to create beautiful, bright smiles.
